Recorded with an old (mini) nagra 1,600 meters underground. This is the sound of "roof support" moving, cracking coal, hissing ventilation, water dripping - and some miners taking in the background.
My second attempt at field recording footsteps, this time with a boom stick pointing the microphone diagonally at my feet. It sounds much clearer, with less noise reduction than my previous recording.
A nice and powerful loop, the guitar is recorded directly from my amplifier and for the drums i used rhythm rascal. Feel free to use however you like, credit is appreciated!.

Recording of a soft footstep on cement floor from a samson c03u w/ cardioid pattern approx. 5 inches away. Noise reduction already applied. Free for use.
A very simple beat useful for many styles. . . Heavily processed recorded with various microphonesprocessing involves eq, reverb, and 3 compressors working in parallel(hi tom is panned 30 right, low tom is panned 30 left).
I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recorded on one of the hottest days of august 2011 using my rode ntg-2 shotgun mic into zoom h4n recorder.
A guitar loop, recorded by plugging directly my guitar to my computer, and processed through guitar rig and some eq. And i apologise for my playing. :p.
Sound of water gently lapping onto rocks at a shore. There is also some low wind and nature sounds in the background. Recorded with a zoom h4n recorder. Cleaned up using adobe audition.
One meter waves breaking on rocks, ending with little lapping. Saint jean du doigt, britany, france, 2012. Recorded with schoeps ab ortfrecorded on nagra aeres bb48khz, 16 bits.
I crumpled some paper in different ways and cut out the noise usind audacity. Good for a stone cracking sound or simply paper crumpling. Recorded with a sennheisser sk-xsw lavalier.
Super heavy distortion with tons of reverb and delay. Total arena rock vibe with the lead guitar player taking the spotlight. Think evh and other guitar overlords throwing down the licks for all to hear.
